Support may include vulnerability assessment, threat narrative tied to documented risk, target-hardening project recommendations, budget planning, worksheet completion, and post-award guidance for improvements such as access control, surveillance, bollards, lighting, and emergency communications.

Yes. EMD assists public, charter, private, faith-based, and tribal K-12 schools with COPS School Violence Prevention Program applications and state school-safety grants. SVPP can fund evidence-based safety measures such as emergency notification systems, anonymous threat reporting, visitor management, access control, classroom door hardening, intrusion detection, surveillance, and training for school personnel and law enforcement.

After award, EMD can help recipients manage grant funds strategically and compliantly through implementation and close-out. Support may include vendor identification, scope refinement, budget management, federal compliance documentation, Environmental and Historic Preservation submissions, procurement workflows, contractor coordination, progress reporting, drawdown management, and final close-out reporting for boards, committees, and administrators.
